Our Engineering Solution: Performed deep digital forensics across the filesystem and server logs—uncovering and eradicating hidden malware copies inside .starter-starter, /wp-content/debug/.logs/, and /wp-content/fonts/.woff-cache/ (disguised as maintenance-143.php and db-143.php), removed an exposed 1.1GB mysql.sql dump, and deployed server-level Web Rules to block the bot flood at the edge.

Our Engineering Solution: Rather than relying on a single caching plugin, we optimized every layer of the stack: removed full-page ob_start() DOM string-replacement buffers, refactored slow PHP/MySQL queries, disabled visitor-triggered WP-Cron, stripped unused CSS/JS assets per template, compressed imagery to WebP, and configured full-page edge and server caching.
